The Specific Heat of Calcium-Hexamine 5k to 150K.
Abstract
The specific heat of calcium hexamine (Ca(NH(,3))(,6)) was measured in the temperature range 5K to 150K using a single pulse adiabatic technique. The precision was 2 percent to 3 percent. The results indicated a Debye temperature of 36K and failed to evidence a structural phase transition. No anamoly that would indicate antiferromagnetism was observed, but the presence of unusually low energy molecular vibrations was found.
