Computations of CO2 gasdynamic laser power performed under different stationary generation conditions
Abstract
In the present paper the energy released from a Fabry-Perot resonator in the form of radiation per unit of mass of the working medium is calculated numerically, in the geometrical optics approximation. Allowance is made for the interaction of the vibrational kinetics, the radiation, and the gasdynamics of the flow. The results obtained with five mixtures at stagnation temperatures of 1600 K and stagnation pressures of 20 atm are tabulated and discussed.
