Influence of the bubble volume content on the equation of bubble pulsations in gas/liquid suspensions
Abstract
The paper deals with the problem of gasbubble pulsations in an ideal fluid, in the case where the volume content of the bubbles is much greater than unity. The flow potential of the fluid in case of a random bubble distribution is obtained, and the mean values of the potential and the squared velocity at the surface of an individual bubble are calculated, under the assumption of an arbitrary bubble distribution. A generalized form of the RayleighLamb equation is proposed, and the influence of illposed bubble interaction conditions on the RayleighLamb equation is examined.
