The angular distribution of the microwave background, and its intensity in the direction of galaxy clusters
Abstract
It is noted that by observing the intensity and polarization of the microwave background in the directions of galaxy clusters and superclusters, it may be possible to obtain information on the angular distribution of the background. In particular, it may be possible to establish whether the background has a quadrupole component.
