Two successive X-ray bursts at ten-minute interval from 1608-522.
Abstract
Two successive X-ray bursts from 1608-522 at an interval of ten minutes were observed by the Japanese X-ray satellite Hakucho. According to the current model of nuclear flash for the bursts, this interval is much shorter than expected from the observed upper limit of the fuel supply rate, if one assumes that the nuclear fuel available is consumed totally in every burst.
