The intensity response on the input fluctuations of the active medium parameters in the fast flow laser
Abstract
The problem of the intensity fluctuation magnitude in a fast-flow laser is considered. The intensity modulation may be connected with input fluctuations of the active medium gain. We show that the intensity response in a laser with an unstable resonator has resonant peaks at the characteristic frequencies 2π nvo/ l( n = 1, 2, …) and that it is larger than in a laser with a stable resonator.
