Supersonic twophase flows under the conditions of particle velocity nonequilibrium
Abstract
The work is concerned with the basic principles of the mathematical description of multiphase flows of the type gassolid particles and stateoftheart laser diagnostic techniques for highvelocity twophase flows. Experimental data on the effect of velocity nonequilibrium of solid particles and gas are examined including the case when the flow parameters are determined to a large degree by the disperse phase concentration. Several mathematical models are analyzed in the light of experimental data, and their applicability limits are defined.
