Experimental investigation of the characteristics of a gasdynamic CO2 laser of the mixing type
Abstract
In the present paper, an attempt is made to optimize the composition and flow rate of the working mixture of CO2 lasers. Some optical diagnostics methods for gasdynamic vibrationally excited flow are examined, along with the gain saturation of the active medium. The vibrational energy stored in the flow is calculated and compared with the experiment.
