On the introduction of isotropic blackbody radiation into the inhomogeneous cosmological models of Szekeres
The observed properties of the cosmological background radiation indicate that the universe possesses a remarkable degree of large-scale spatial homogeneity and isotropy. In the present paper, this unresolved problem is attacked by introducing some isotropic radiation into Szekeres' analysis on the inhomogeneous space time, in addition to his irrotational dust source. Explicit expressions for the matter energy density and all metrical functions are derived in terms of the parametric time. Consideration is given to some cosmological aspects of the model, according to which the universe cannot become more inhomogeneous in the future than it is at present, although it could have been more inhomogeneous in the past.
