Quantum electrodynamics /2nd revised edition/
Abstract
The elements of the relativistic theory of quantum electrodynamics are treated. Particular attention is given to the theory of the photon, bosons and fermions, and to particle behavior in an external field. Electromagnetic radiation is discussed, and problems of light scattering and the scattering matrix considered. Invariant perturbation theory is examined in relation to the Feynman diagrams for electron and photon scattering, and electron and electron-photon interactions are discussed along with point propagators and the vertex regions. Attention is also given to radiational corrections to various physical processes, the asymptotic formulas of quantum electrodynamics, and the electrodynamics of hadrons.
