Environmental control instrumentation
Abstract
The paper presents a parametric model of human environment based on the interaction with atmospheric pressure, gas composition, temperature, humidity, electrical, magnetic and radiation fields, and the microflora. The principles of measuring these parameters and their instrumentation are discussed, noting that complex evaluation of environmental factors is required. The design and operation of gas analyzers, chromatographs, mass spectrometers, hygrometers, and dust counters are described, along with dosimetry of penetrating radiation and microflora analysis.
