On a model of non-thermal nuclear-fusion reaction in D-T plasma
Abstract
A model of a fusion chain reaction in D-T plasma which takes into account the dynamics of the process is presented. The model is based on kinetic equations of the particles participating in the process. The effect of high-energy Coulomb reflections upon the chain reaction is neglected. The critical conditions of the self-sustaining reaction are determined, taking into consideration the D-He and T-He reaction channels. The participation of these channels is examined for various electron temperatures.
