TDMA equipment for 6/4 GHz band satellite communication system
Abstract
TDMA equipment for C band satellite communication system was developed for communications between remote islands and the mainland of Japan. The equipment bit rate is 106.88 Mb/s, and four-phase PSK coherent detection is employed. This equipment is designed to sufficiently satisfy operational reliability requirement. For this purpose, redundant equipment is used. This paper describes TDMA system configuration in detail and presents field test results, using the medium-capacity communication satellite for experimental purpose.
