The periodical component of high-energy gamma-radiation of source CygX-3.
Abstract
Data on gamma radiation (E greater than 2 TeV) from Cyg X-3 for the period 1972-1977 were examined, and a gamma-radiation period of 0.199683 + or - 0.000001 d was obtained. The light curve of the source has two narrow peaks and the phase interval between pulses is about 0.6 P. The flux value averaged over 1972-1977 is 1.8 x 10 to the -10th quanta/sq cm-sec (for the peak). This corresponds to an isotropic gamma luminosity of 1.2 x 10 to the 37th erg/sec if the distance to the source is 10 kpc.
