Expressions for quantum efficiency for transverse and longitudinal detectivity of non-background-limited infrared detectors
Abstract
Standard expressions for quantum efficiency are usually derived by assuming that light is absorbed uniformly throughout the bulk of a photodetector. The author's previous treatment of 'average' quantum efficiency is extended here to the case of non-background limited detectivities of infrared photoconductive detectors.
