Bragg effects in microwave transmission through stationary plasma structures
Abstract
The paper describes the first of a series of experiments designed to study, in a double-plasma (DP) device (3-cm) microwave Bragg scattering from stationary plasma waves and 'irregulariteis.' Consideration is given to Bragg effects in microwave transmission through stationary plasma density structures, consisting of (1) a cylindrical plasma column, (2) a single plasma slab, and (3) a rotatable system of multiple equally spaced plasma slabs.
