On the near-optimum binary coherent-state receiver
Abstract
Operator representations for photoemissive measurements are used to derive the measurement operator associated with a near-optimum binary coherent-state receiver. A binary coherent-state communication problem is first considered, the near-optimum receiver is described, and quantum analysis is presented.
