Performance analysis of demod-remod coherent receiver for QPSK and SQPSK input
Abstract
The power spectral density of the equivalent noise is obtained for a demod-remod coherent receiver for QPSK and SQPSK input. In addition, the probability density function of the steady-state phase error is determined. The effects of the IF and arm filters on the statistics of the noise and QPSK signal are investigated. Results of performance computations are presented.
