Scattering by circular metallic disks
Abstract
The eigenfunction solution for the far-field scattering by a thin, circular metallic disk is summarized. This solution yields both components of the scattered electric field for an incident plane wave of arbitrary polarization and arbitrary incidence directions. Sample amplitude, phase, and cross section results are presented.
