Surplus radiation from data of an experiment at the artificial earth satellite Cosmos 721.
Abstract
The paper investigates specific ionization of penetrating particles recorded during the 'Cosmos-721' satellite experiment in the polar orbit with the 240 km apogee and 210 km perigee. The resulting values of surplus radiation are correlated with the measurements of spherical probes. The latitudinal relationships of proton fluxes of surplus radiation are determined; a differential energy spectrum of surplus radiation protons at the equator is constructed.
