Zur Berechnung der Fehlerwahrscheinlichkeit bei Quadraturmodulationsverfahren zur synchronen Datenübertragung
Abstract
Quadrature modulation schemes (QAM), used in systems for fast synchronous data transmission over telephone channels, are tested for sensitivity to disturbance. White Gaussian noise is added to the transmission channel and the probability of error is calculated for the modulation schemes with a practical computing procedure. Intersymbol interference and phase jitter are used to test the method.
