Numerical analysis of radial thin-wire antenna in presence of conducting sphere
Abstract
A procedure is presented for the efficient summation of the infinite series with slow convergence, which is of interest in the analysis of radial thin wire antennas in the presence of a conducting sphere. Attention is given to the use of the planar image theory. It is shown that in this manner it is possible to obtain a series with modified coefficients converging faster than the initial one.
