The results of a three-dimensional test of nearest neighbors for large-scale structures in the universe are presented. A very strong tendency is found toward grouping in double clusters. In general, the probabilities in the three-dimensional case are much higher than those in the two-dimensional case, and characteristic sizes are also larger. In addition, the approach favors models of a hierarchical grouping of galaxy clusters with an almost continuous spectrum.
