On the present status of aerial photogrammetric camera systems
Abstract
The development of aerial photogrammetric camera systems is reviewed noting that great progress was made in the early 1950s with the introduction of high-performance lenses, as well as in the early 1960s with the further development of color correction into A-characteristics. In the 1970s advances were mainly made in details. The current level of performance is outlined and important aspects of the extension of operating conditions, in particular with regard to flying altitude are considered.
