Low-frequency laser noise of several commercial lasers
Abstract
Noise spectra levels have been investigated in several commercial gas lasers in connection with laboratory studies of optical sensor techniques. The results are presented for argon ion and He-Ne lasers for the 0-1 kHz and 0-10 kHz frequency ranges. The low-frequency laser noise spectra presented can be used to estimate laser noise contributions and minimum detectable thresholds for optical sensor applications.
