Telemetry signal damping during rocket electron beam injections
Abstract
A preliminary analysis is presented of telemetry signal damping associated with the injection of intense energetic electron beams in the ionosphere during the Zarnitza 2 and Araks experiments. It is suggested that the damping of the signal is due to an enhancement of density fluctuations generated by the beam.
