Terrestrial radio broadcasting at approximately 12 GHz - The Puy de Dome reception experiment
Abstract
A 12 GHz multiprogram transmitter is now operating at the Puy de Dome experimental site in order to simulate conditions of individual reception from communications satellites. The transmitter and its operation are described, with particular attention given to differences between satellite-based and ground-based transmissions in the 12 GHz band.
