Atmospheric attenuation of centimeter microwaves
Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to review the literature on absorption and scattering of centimeter microwaves in the troposphere. Theoretical and measured values for absorption and scattering are applied to the case of a Microwave Power Transmission System to determine possible atmospheric heating and loss of power from the beam.
