Characteristics of the sensitometry of photothermoplastic recording layers
Abstract
The use of a laser resolvometer for the sensitometry of poly-N-vinyl carbazole thermoplastic films is described. Results are presented for two types of structures: regular and self-regular. The relationships between sensitometric characteristics and modulation depth of the image and magnitude of the initial charge potential of the recording layer are investigated; control of the sensitometric characteristics can be accomplished by changing the mode of recording.
