Voltage distribution and current in a cylindrical relativistic diode
Abstract
The paper describes the calculation of current density and voltage distribution in cylindrical electron guns working in a megavolt region. A program in BASIC is presented for a timeshare computer. The program was checked for a low-voltage case and it is shown that accuracy is improved with number of steps.
