Topics on boundary layer transition including laminar to turbulent flow in gases at subsonic, transonic, supersonic, and hypersonic velocities; transition in the boundary layer flow of various liquids; flow transition involving structural and configurations forms; experimental equipment; facilities tests, and methods are presented. Mathematical and computer aided analyses and methods of inducing inhibiting transition are addressed. Applications of boundary layer research to aerospace vehicles, wings, airfoils, geometric forms, and models are discussed. This updated bibliography contains 259 abstracts, 57 of which are new entries to the previous edition.
