Determination of ozone and of peroxide compounds
Abstract
A brief review is given of characteristic atmospheric photochemical reactions whose products, under unfavorable atmospheric conditions, produce photochemical smog. Photooxidation analysis methods are discussed and classified into methods of determining groups of oxidants, ozone, and peroxide compounds. The drawbacks of these methods are pointed out, and guidelines for selecting and applying the appropriate method are proposed.
