Study of the thermal inertia of an electrode microarc
Abstract
The thermal inertia characteristics of a microarc discharge were investigated by analyzing the frequency dependence of the interelectrode gap impedance and the current and voltage relaxation time. An equivalent circuit representation of the measurement method is described. The method involves superposing the ac probe current on the dc MHD generator current.
