The Congress focused on surface flow measurements in aerodynamic testing, testing for space applications, propulsion testing, microprocessor and computer applications, ballistics, diagnostic techniques and microprocessor and computer applications. Papers were presented on developments in aerothermodynamic test techniques, two probe synchronized sampling technique for measuring flows behind rotors, the computer infrastructure of the DNW low speed wind tunnel, a high speed digital acquisition system for short-duration test facilities, high speed photography in ballistics, X-ray cinematography, a three-dimensional laser Doppler velocimeter for wind tunnels, and measurement of vortices in wind tunnel experiments using ultrasonic pulses.
