Electromagnetic enclosures behavior - Comparison data analysis. I
Abstract
The behavior and applications of reverberating rooms are reviewed. Insertion losses are plotted for various reverberating chambers. It is shown that the general behavior of reverberating rooms is accurately described, with some exceptions, by straight lines. Experimental results also indicate that loss ratios are approximately equal to wall surface ratios. Applications include measurements of emitted and absorbed power, shielding effectiveness measurements, and biological microwave dosimetry.
