Earth-atmosphere radiation budget analyses derived from NOAA satellite data June 1974 - February 1978, volume 1
Abstract
Earth-atmosphere radiation budget data determined from the scanning radiometers aboard NOAA operational satellites are presented in analyzed mapped fields. Monthly, seasonal, and annual averages are given. The mapped data are displayed on a Mercator projection from 60 N to 60 S and polar stereographic projections poleward of 50 N and S. The quantities displayed are albedo, absorbed solar radiation, outgoing longwave radiation, and net radiation.
