Detection of intermittent events maintaining Reynolds stress
Abstract
The paper deals with some signal processing techniques which yield information on intermittent phenomena associated with the production of wall turbulence in shear flows. Some results which provide insight into the complicated processes in turbulent boundary layers are presented.
