The computation of integral-type flexure hinge assembly of dynamically tuned gyroscopes
Abstract
Calculation methods for determining the various stiffnesses of integral-type flexure hinge assemblies of dynamically turned gyroscopes are presented. A number of assumptions are made which reduce the calculation work to the determination of stiffnesses along different axes of a single element under various loading conditions. The effect of structural parameters can be easily analyzed, and parameter values can be selected so as to obtain optimum performance. Accurate results were obtained for angular stiffness.
