Calculations of the longitudinal and lateral distributions of the energy deposition of 100-500 MeV electrons in some materials
Abstract
The electromagnetic energy distribution of electron induced cascade showers was studied. Primary electron energies were between 100 and 500 MeV. The longitudinal distribution of the showers was calculated analytically and Monte Carlo methods are used to obtain the lateral distribution.
