Evaluation of error probabilities for MPSK satellite communication systems with interference
Abstract
This paper presents a method of evaluating error probabilities of coherent MPSK modulation systems with conventional nonlinear satellite repeaters when there is uplink noise, downlink noise, a phase reference error, and interference. The numerical evaluations are based on a generalization of the classical moment technique for approximating probability distributions.
