On flow structures giving rise to high Reynold's stresses in a turbulent boundary layer
Abstract
A conditional sampling method is presented and applied to two component measurements of velocity in turbulent flows. It allows the detection of flow structures in boundary layer flow and their classification according to the direction of their internal flow.
