Possibility of recording holograms without using a reference beam
Abstract
The possibility is examined of reconstructing some characteristics of the field distribution function at the object from Fourier holograms, without using a reference beam. An analysis aurocorrelated image pattern reveals the feasibility of obtaining a priori information on the object in the form of the field distribution function at its boundary. Using optical filtering within the spatial frequency range, it is possible to reconstruct the first derivative of the field distribution function in the plane of the object.
