Limit distribution theorems for equipment load measurements
Abstract
This paper discusses the possibility of controlling the equipment load of a data processor that employs many I/O random access (RA) devices by utilizing a capacity-resistance method that operates similarly to a digital machine. Equations of various random variables for monotonically increasing and decreasing functions are derived and computed as well as theorems for asymptotically distributed recursive functions. A mathematical example is given that measures the load of a central processing unit of a system that simultaneously accesses 10 I/O controls/sec.
