Numerical solution of a two-dimensional heat conduction equation with strongly varying coefficients
Abstract
An iterative algorithm is developed for the two-dimensional problem of heat propagation in a singly constrained region. Consideration is given to the case when the transport coefficients of the heat conduction equation are strongly varying spatial variables. Numerical results illustrate the efficiency of the method.
