Narrow nonlinear resonances in the standing wave field of a 0.63-micron He-Ne-I2 laser
Abstract
In the experiments described, it proved possible to identify nonlinear resonances in the emission of an He-Ne laser with an (I-129)2 absorbing element in the standing wave field. A recording system is described, using which both the output power spectrum and its frequency derivative could be observed directly. The results obtained in the present work are suitable for studying resonance phenomena in ring lasers with nonlinear absorption.
