Nonstationary heat transfer in a ribbed thin-walled shell of revolution under conditions of thermal resistance in the coupling zone
Abstract
In the present paper, finite integral transforms, with the kernel defined on a set of geometrically dissimilar nonideally coupled regions, are applied to the solution of a system of equations describing the temperature distribution in heat-releasing thin-walled cylindrical shell intersected by circular ribs. The results can be readily extended to the solution of nonstationary heat conduction problems for various geometries and numbers of coupling zones, both for ideal and nonideal thermal contact.
