Evaluation of service availability in a packet switching network
Abstract
After reviewing the problem parameters and defining the service availability as a function of the average delay time, the flow deviation method is used for optimizing the routing strategy of the network. The routing is of a proportional type based upon minimizing the average delay time. A computer program is presented and its applications are discussed.
