Simulated accidents in the handling of phosgene at Kenogard Air Base, Sweden
Abstract
Scenarios were prepared for activities following a leak in a phosgene processing facility. Diffusion and toxicity levels were compared for various distances for two cases. The influence of weather conditions on the severity of an accident was considered. It is concluded that an accident involving phosgene would be no worse than one involving chlorine.
