A thermoplastic device for real-time in situ recording of acoustical holograms
Abstract
Theory and experimental results of a thermoplastic device for real-time in situ acoustical holographic recording are presented. The theoretical analysis takes the possible existence of an in-line reference beam and its influence on the real-time coherent optical image reconstruction into consideration. A new technique has been used for fabricating the thermoplastic devices. The preliminary experimental data have demonstrated the feasibility of the application of the device for recordings of acoustical holograms.
