Two-phase vapour-liquid flow with phase change, review
Abstract
Theories, models, and measurement techniques for boiling, condensation, or two phase liquid-vapor flow are reviewed. It is recommended that a comprehensive and integrated theory of two phase flow with boiling be developed and that mathematical models be derived which account for phase interactions and which cover the full range of flow regimes. It is also recommended that the parameters involved be evaluated only with the aid of reliable well-documented sets of data and that improved measurement techniques be developed for this field so that data sets can be obtained.
